Can you please answer the following: Which of the following should be placed in quotation marks and should NOT be italicized or underlined? the name of a ship the title of a poem the title of a novel the name of a newspaper Thanks
Anne answers...
Here goes: The names of ships are italicized, the title of a poem is italicized, the title of a novel is italicized, and the name of a newspaper is italicized. But don't think everything is italicized; there are also rules for putting nouns in quotation marks.
